Company History
Pacific Power was founded in 2002 as a solar PV systems integrator and has evolved into a full-service solar power company for industrial and commercial consumers.

Pacific Power Management, LLC is formed as a solar systems integrator.
2003 - RACKING SYSTEMS
The Company develops its proprietary all aluminum and stainless racking system.
2004 - THE COMPANY MOVES
The Company moves into its current facility in Auburn, CA and finishes its first large project – the 470 kW system for Ceronix, Inc.
2005 - SOLARWATCH
The Company designs its proprietary monitoring and billing system, SolarWatch.
2006 - POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT
Pacific Power signs its first Power Purchase Agreement.
2007 - MORGAN STANLEY
The Company signs a $250 million financing agreement with Morgan Stanley.
2008 - FULL-SERVICE SOLAR POWER COMPANY
The Company completes its transition to become a full-service solar power company and is named one of the top 20 fastest growing companies in the Sacramento region.
2009 - EXCEEDS 10 MW
The Company exceeds 10 MW of total installed solar PV capacity. PPR, is formed.
2010 - SUNVIPER
Pacific Research & Development launches SunViperTM single axis ground mount tracking system on 3 large commercial projects.
2011 - NORTH AMERICAN MARKET
Enters North American Market with multiple utility projects ranging 2- 20+ MW each.
2011 - HAWAII MARKET
Enters the Hawaii market with a 500 MW Tracking System under the MECO FIT Program.
2012 - FIT CONTRACT
The company is awarded a FIT contract with the Ontario Power Authority.
2014 - 20 MEGAWATTS
The company exceeds 20 megawatts of total installed solar PV capacity.
